Our Collaborative Network

Empowering Filipino farmers through knowledge, innovation, and sustainable agriculture. NISARD Foundation and Access Agriculture have joined forces to expand access to practical agricultural knowledge by promoting high-quality farmer-to-farmer training videos, capacity building, and digital learning tools that support sustainable and organic agriculture across the Philippines.

Project Background

The Negros Island Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development Foundation (NISARD) and Access Agriculture signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen agricultural extension services through the use of multilingual educational videos and digital knowledge-sharing platforms. Founded in 2012, Access Agriculture is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, with regional offices in Kenya, Benin, Bangladesh, and Bolivia. Established with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the organization provides free access to quality agricultural training videos that promote sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farmers worldwide. This partnership aims to make practical agricultural knowledge more accessible to Filipino farmers, extension workers, educators, and rural communities by promoting the translation, dissemination, and local production of farmer-to-farmer learning videos.
